London Calling

This animation was based on my favorite painting in the Tate Britain/Philadelphia Museum of Art. It depicts a rainy evening in London, with the light reflecting on the stone cobblestones from the shops along the harbor.

Lanterns lead you and the character throughout the narrative. He is a rather sad looking man, limping through the rain, but is filled with a sense of determination. You learn at the end what it takes to add color to a world of black and white.
